The nature trail will take us through coniferous cold broad-leaved woods via Phajoding Monastery which is a Buddhist monastery near Thimphu Bhutan. It was one of the richest and most decorated monasteries in the country, which was listed in 2010 by the World Monuments Fund as an endangered cultural monument and back to home by passing beautiful mountain ridges and magical pasture land that leads toward Buddha Point or the Buddha Dordenma located atop a hill in Kuenselphodrang and overlooks the Southern Thimphu Valley.
The statue fulfils an ancient prophecy discovered by Terton and is said to emanate an peace and happiness to the entire world. This massive statue of Shakyamuni measures in at a height of 51.5 m, making it one of the largest statues of Buddha in the world.
