Security
The Department of Tourism will hold your money in its bank account and will release it to Marvellous Bhutan Travel after you leave Bhutan. If for any reason the trip doesn’t go ahead, then the government will not give your money to us and will return it to you (subject to any cancellation charges which apply if you have canceled the trip).
Payment mode: Bank Transfer
For wire transfer payments, we will provide you with our bank account details and a reference number to include in the transfer. Please note that all bank transfer fees must be covered by the client which is a one-time payment of $70 way cheaper than a visa surcharge.
Cash payments can be made in Bhutanese Ngultrum or US dollars. We recommend bringing cash in small denominations as it can be difficult to break larger bills in Bhutan.
