The name “Guru with the lion’s voice”, Guru Senge Dachog, speaks of his powerful proclamation of the teaching of buddha. In this emanation the Guru destroyed the obstacles of ignorance and negativity. Clad in the skins of a tiger and a snow lion, he stands like a wrathful yidam in a lunging pose upon a man possessed by a spirit who has already submitted to Sengo Dachog. In his right hand he holds the vajra while extending his left hand in the gesture of threat. A poisonous serpent twines around his body. His wearing of around this creature as adornment symbolizes his power to control beings afflicted with hatred and malevolence. Despite his terrifying appearance. the third eye on his brow indicates his true essence as a benevolent proclaimer of the teaching of the Buddha.
